A cost effective way of managing your horses routine healthcare, saving over 20% annually. Taken either by monthly or annual direct debit.

Our plan includes:

  • Annual vaccination

    Annual dental examination (including sedation if required)

    Annual blood sample (excluding P&P, lab and reporting fees)

  • Our Intelligent Worming Package takes a diagnostic-led approach tailored to your horse.

    • 3 x faecal egg counts (to use throughout the grazing season)

    • Tailored worming advice

    • FREE faecal egg count reduction tests if resistance is suspected

    • EquiSal saliva tapeworm test (Autumn)

    • Text reminders

    Our Intelligent Worming Package is available outside the Equine Care Plan.

Delivered by our team of dedicated Equine Vets this is a great way to ensure your horses routine healthcare is taken care of all for just £17.50 per month or an annual payment of £210.

Vettings

Buying a horse is exciting — but it comes with risk. Our vetting services are designed to give you a clear picture of your horse's health before you commit, carried out promptly so your purchase isn't delayed.

We routinely carry out 2 and 5 stage vettings, with additional imaging and bloodwork if required.

Routine Services

We operate from offices in Hereford, Bromyard and Ledbury, bringing all of our services directly to your yard. As a close-knit ambulatory team, you'll always be seen by vets you know and trust.

When specialist care is needed, we work closely with trusted local referral centres and will arrange this promptly on your behalf.

  • We routinely vaccinate our patients against influenza and tetanus.

    Vaccinations are also available for EHV, strangles, rotavirus and sweet-itch.

  • Routine care, management of dental disease and extraction of wolf teeth.

    When specialist care is needed we work closely with local dental specialists.

  • We carry out microchipping, passport applications and DNA sampling.

  • We perform routine standing and knock down castrations on site.

    A seasonal castration package is available.

  • To provide our clients with a cost-effective reproductive service we have launched a “per cycle” stud package for mares which are expected to be straightforward breeders. 

    £400 inc. VAT

    The package includes:

    • All pre-breeding clinical and ultrasound examinations

    • Artificial-insemination with chilled/fresh semen

    • Post-breeding uterine evaluation

    • Day 14-16 pregnancy scan

    • Day >28 heart-beat scan

    The package excludes:

    • Visit fees

    • Drugs (including sedation)

    • Management of common complications including post-breeding endometritis, twin pregnancies, Caslick’s procedure)

    • Lab fees – if needed

    The suitability of your mare to benefit from the package is subject to discussion with one of our vets and is payable between the preliminary examination and the second visit. Visits, rugs and any additional work required will be invoiced under our normal terms and conditions. 

    Addition cycles will be invoiced at a reduced rate of £350 inc. VAT.

  • We have a dedicated team of export vets, who can facilitate and certify equine exports to the continent and beyond.

Diagnostic Imaging

Our team are fully trained to provide poor performance investigations and lameness work-ups at your own yard.

  • We provide strategic investigations into any lameness including a wide range of nerve blocks.

  • We perform mobile gastroscopy enabling us to diagnose and monitor gastric ulcers.

  • We perform mobile resting endoscopy and sampling of the respiratory tract.

  • We have fully mobile x-ray and ultrasound equipment enabling us to diagnose conditions at your yard.
